Running north of Macquarie Harbour and Hells Gates and extending north to Trial Harbour, Ocean Beach is over 40 kilometres of wild waves and West Coast sunsets. Located 6 kilometres from Strahan and accessible via an unsealed road.

  • Hogarth Falls

    Located in Strahan, ​in Peoples Park, is an easy short walk through tall forest and rainforest to a delightful waterfall. You can encounter towering gum trees and rainforest trees such as leatherwood, sassafras and myrtle. The 1.2km walk is easy going and platypus can occasionally be seen in the creek below the falls.

  • Montezuma Falls

    Montezuma Falls, near Rosebery on Tasmania's west coast, is Tasmania's highest waterfall at 104 metres. The track to the falls begins at Williamsford, two kilometres south of Rosebery.

    A series of giant dunes formed by the Roaring Forties are great to explore. The dunes are around 30m high, reaching several kilometres inland and extending 15 km along the coast.
