The Vessel
Five generations of boating in this area, lends itself to an intimate knowledge of the Gordon River. This gave rise to the unique, low-wash design of our purpose-built cruiser which meets the dual essentials of passenger comfort and preservation of the riverine environment. Large windows and a spacious layout ensure all passengers get the maximum from our Gordon River cruise.
The Eagle
The most advanced vessel to cruise the Gordon River, the Eagle, is an all-aluminium 35m catamaran launched in late 2007. Purpose-built for the Gordon River cruise to minimise the impact on the River’s embankments, the vessel’s extra large windows, spacious layout and excellent seating provide the maximum in passenger comfort.

All seating is allocated and passengers are free to walk around the vessel at all times. There are two fully licensed bars onboard with snacks and beverages available to purchase throughout the cruise.
The boat also houses an interpretation / library area and children’s play / video area so you can learn more about this unique World Heritage Tasmania area.
Smoking is permitted on the outer decks, but is not permitted by law inside any cabin areas. Wheelchair access is available.
